Where the wild cows gather


The Sunol Wilderness is the native home of California's unique carnivorous cows.

We set out on Monday on the far left of frame and travelled on foot for three hours to far right of frame.

Then, after crossing a number of white water creeks, we arrived at this grove of live oaks and came across the first signs of the cows.

Charles and Angus located the cave known to be a favoured cow attack area.
